YOGA & CHAIR YOGA (Mobile Service)

Mobile Service – Home, Workplace, Conferences, Retreats.

The word “yoga” comes from the Sanskrit root “yuj”, which means “to yoke” the spirit and physical body together. Yoga has evolved over thousands of years to embrace a wide range of styles and disciplines.

Yoga is accessible to participants of all levels from beginner to advanced and can be modified to each individual’s needs. My intention is to energize your body through movement and calm your mind using the breath, lowering blood pressure and increasing strength and flexibility.

TAI-CHI (Mobile Service)

Mobile Service- Home, workplaces, conferences, retreats.

Tai Chi Chuan is an ancient Chinese tradition that today is practiced mostly as a graceful form of exercise. It involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by deep breathing.

Joyfully moving one’s body with grace and gratitude promoting harmony between the physical and mental aspects of our being.

The Chinese characters for Tai Chi Chuan can be translated as the ‘Supreme Ultimate Force’. The notion of ‘supreme ultimate’ is often associated with the Chinese concept of yin-yang, the notion that one can see a dynamic duality (male/female, active/passive, dark/light, forceful/yielding, etc.) in all things. ‘Force’ (or, more literally, ‘fist’) can be thought of here as the means or way of achieving this ying-yang, or ‘supreme-ultimate’ discipline.

REIKI

Reiki is Universal Life Energy. Reiki, (pronounced “ray-key”), is actually two Japanese words: “Rei” means universal life and “ki” means energy. Ki is the same as “Chi” in Chinese, “Prana” in Sanskrit and “Mana” in Hawaiian. When activated, Reiki addresses body, mind and spirit by accelerating one’s ability to heal one’s self. The body is reminded of its ability to heal physical ailments, the mind opened to the causes of disease, and the spirit to the opportunity of taking responsibility for one’s life and the joys of balanced wellness.
